Double delights with the Alpine A110 Cup in 2025

Successfully relaunched in 2018, the Alpine ELF Cup Series looks ahead to its eighth season with a revitalised calendar and new opportunities for GT hopefuls. Next year, drivers and teams competing with the Alpine A110 Cup will also benefit from a new path in the motorsport pyramid with the launch of the Alpine Endurance Cup.

Just four weeks after Charles Roussanne was crowned, the Alpine ELF Cup Series has already begun preparations for the 2025 season. At the same time, Alpine and Signatech have revealed the principal themes of this future campaign, promising to preserve the essence of the category while introducing some refreshing innovations.

DNA SPRINT FOR THE ALPINE ELF CUP SERIES

A single-make competition exclusively for the Alpine A110 Cup and an FIA-approved international series, the Alpine ELF Cup Series has established itself as a genuine springboard, seeing its top drivers excel in the highest spheres of GT and Endurance racing. The discipline will retain its fundamentals with a tried and tested recipe of 12 races spread over six meetings: three in France and three internationally.

As has been the case since 2019, the season will begin at Circuit Paul-Armagnac in Nogaro (France) before the competitors head to Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium). During the summer, the Alpine ELF Cup Series will return to Circuit Zandvoort (Netherlands) before also returning to Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours (France) to begin the second half of the season. Mugello (Italy) will be a new destination ahead of the season finale in early October at Circuit Paul Ricard (France).

The meeting format will remain the same, with two 40-minute free practice sessions and two 20-minute qualifying sessions. However, the two races per event will be extended to 30 minutes plus one lap to offer more action. In addition to this highly valuable track time, two drivers can still share the same Alpine A110 Cup at the same meeting, doing one qualifying session and one race each.

AN EVER MORE ATTRACTIVE PRIZE PACKAGE

As In previous years, the competitors will battle on several levels. In addition to the overall classification, the Professional, Junior, Challengers and Gentlemen categories and the team championship will offer multiple dimensions as the drivers will compete for €36,000 in race prizes throughout the season.

These prizes will be added to those of the future winner of the Alpine ELF Cup Series. The successor to Pierre Sancinéna, Gaël Castelli, Jean-Baptiste Méla, Lucas Frayssinet, Lorens Lecertua and Charles Roussanne will be able to choose between a production Alpine A110 Pure or a prize fund worth €50,000 excluding VAT. The latter will either allow them to defend their A110 Cup title or take it to the next level with the A110 GT4 or Rally. Meanwhile, the best Gentlemen will win a bonus of €10,000 in spare parts vouchers for 2026.

Full-season drivers will receive a range of products and services included in their entry. They will be able to take advantage of the strengthened partnership between Alpine and Michelin Motorsport, which will offer the third set of SL8 slick tyres authorised for each round to the first competitors registered for the season.

A NEW DIMENSION WITH THE ALPINE ENDURANCE CUP

Alongside the Alpine ELF Cup Series, the A-arrow brand will innovate with a format focused on Endurance racing. Designed for long-distance racing, the Alpine Endurance Cup will be held within the Ultimate Cup Series.

Run over the four Ultimate Endurance GT Cup events not conflicting with the Alpine ELF Cup Series calendar; this series will aim to strengthen the endurance experience while consolidating the Alpine route to major competitions. The Alpine A110 Cups will have a dedicated classification and points system over the three 4-hour rounds and the 6-hour finale, and their competitors will benefit from an end-of-season bonus of €10,000 in spare parts vouchers for the following year. This new format will make it possible to race an Alpine A110 Cup at a reduced cost by sharing the car between two or three drivers (in the case of the 6-hour race).

This novelty aligns with the evolution of the A110 Cup’s uses since four crews were already entered last weekend for the Ultimate Endurance GT Cup at Circuit Paul Ricard, with success in UCS Light under their belts.

By doubling the fun in the Alpine A110 Cup, the 2025 season will underline the A-arrow brand's commitment to offering a complete experience, meeting the expectations of sprint and endurance enthusiasts alike, while continuing its role as a springboard to the next level.
