Alpine adds GT4 European Series title to its resume

• Winner of the 2018 GT4 International Cup and 2023 French FFSA GT Am Championship, the GT4 version of the Alpine A110 scored its first GT4 European Series title this season.

• With seven wins from 12 races, Laurent Hurgon and Pascal Huteau dominated the Am Cup on the European scene in the Schumacher CLRT #55 A110 GT4 Evo.

• The A-arrow brand reaffirms its commitment to the category with a new homologation cycle.

Present on all fronts, Alpine has competed in GT4 since the debut of the A110 GT4 in 2018. Rivalling the major constructors from the outset, it didn't take long for it to make its imprint, including a historic victory in the GT4 International Cup in Bahrain.

In 2022, the A110 GT4 Evo was launched, with upgrades to the gearbox, turbo and engine. The work done paid off, as Laurent Hurgon and Alain Ferté won the A110's first title in the French FFSA GT Championship the following year.

The A110 takes more strides forward

Last year's winner in France, the Schumacher CLRT #55 Alpine A110 GT4 Evo continued its success this year, reaching new heights in the GT4 European Series.

Entrusted to Laurent Hurgon and Pascal Huteau, the Lyon-based team's car made its mark on the campaign by dominating the Am category. Getting the year off to an ideal start with a brace of victories at Circuit Paul Ricard, the duo also won at Misano, Spa-Francorchamps and Hockenheim. Again on the podium at Monza, the crew clinched the title with one round remaining on the calendar. The pair's seventh win of the year at the season finale in Jeddah this past weekend ensured Schumacher CLRT the Am team crown.

In addition to this historic title, other competitors excelled with the A- arrow brand. Silver drivers Nelson Panciatici and Antoine Leclerc won overall with Code Racing Development at Hockenheim. Chazel Technologie Course's Jean-Paul Dominici and Jean-Mathieu Leandri also scored two further Am wins for the A110.

Alpine in contention in France

The Alpine A110 GT4 Evo also starred in its quest for more success in France. With Grégory Guilvert and Laurent Hurgon, the #55 Schumacher CLRT scored two overall victories at Spa and Circuit Paul Ricard.

Alpine won in all categories, with three victories in Pro-Am, one in Silver and three in Am. These results secured the Pro-Am title for Schumacher CLRT. Silver driver Mateo Herrero finished runner-up in the FFSA GT French Championship with Chazel Technologie Course, as did the Am competitors Stéphane Lemeret and Stéphane Auriacombe with the CMR #63.

The Alpine pathway to GT also proved its worth, with the first title of Gaël Castelli, winner of the 2019 Alpine ELF Cup Series, Mateo Herrero scoring solid results, and Gaspard Simon and Tom Verdier both taking pole positions as they were tackling double programs.

Proud of these successes, thanks to the teams and crews who put their trust in it, Alpine is preparing to write further chapters in its already rich GT4 history by entering a new homologation cycle. The Alpine A110 GT4 Evo 2, which won its class last month in the six-hour final of the Ultimate Endurance GT Cup, will aim to further raise the brand's colors on the world's most prestigious circuits.
